Location and Rooms
Based within the River Gardens residential development (off Banning Street), this purpose- built building, was opened to meet the rising demand for high quality childcare from families moving into Greenwich. The nursery can accommodate up to 67 children a day, aged from 3 months up to 5 years.
This single storey building consists of three spacious rooms with wall to floor windows for lots of natural light and ventilation. All rooms are complemented with wooden floors for hygiene, the latest educational furniture and learning resources. There are areas for sleep, rest and quiet times too. Our eldest room (Runners) has its own suite of toilets within the room plus a dedicated art and messy play area – perfect for curious two and three year olds who are increasingly asserting their independence and learning new skills.
Outdoor Space
More2Riverside also boasts the largest playground in a private nursery within a half mile radius. The baby unit has direct entry to the garden where you can enjoy views of the River Thames and the beautiful skyline of Canary Wharf.
The garden has a large playhouse, covered area, mud kitchen and opportunities for supervised risky and physical play. There are small bikes, slides and climbing frames – all importance for developing gross motor skills.

FAQs
Do you accept salary sacrifice at More2Riverside
Yes, all our Greenwich nurseries accept salary sacrifice childcare schemes through providers including Enjoy Benefits and Yellow Nest.
Salary sacrifice allows eligible working parents to pay nursery fees from their gross salary before tax and National Insurance deductions, which can significantly reduce childcare costs. Many families using childcare in Greenwich benefit from this scheme, and our team is happy to guide parents through the process.
How does the 15 and 30 hours funded childcare work?
Eligible working parents in England can access 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare per week during term time, depending on age and eligibility. This government scheme supports many families seeking affordable childcare in Greenwich.
While the funding rate does not fully cover the true cost of delivering high-quality early years education, we are committed to supporting families to maximise their entitlement. We explain clearly how stretched funding works across the year and provide transparent fee breakdowns so parents understand their options.
Can More2Riverside nursery follow our child’s routine from home?
At our Riverside nursery in Greenwich, each room follows an age-appropriate routine. Babies and toddlers have schedules that can reflect individual sleep and feeding patterns, but we tend to find that children start to follow the general nursery routine quite quickly along with their peers. Preschool children follow a more structured day to support school readiness.
We work closely with families during settling-in to mirror home routines where possible, particularly for sleep and comfort. Our goal is to ensure children feel secure while gently adapting to the rhythm of nursery life.
