More2Riverside Nursery
More2Riverside Nursery School and Pre-School Greenwich opened in March 2019 to meet the rising demand for quality childcare from families moving into Greenwich. In April 2022 it was awarded Ofsted Outstanding at its first inspection. The hand-picked staff team at More2Riverside Nursery Greenwich are truly inspirational – continuously enhancing the learning experiences and standards of care offered to the babies and children. You can review all our policies here.
Situated within the prestigious River Gardens development, just moments from the River Thames, our modern and purpose-built nursery offers a truly unique setting. With views towards Canary Wharf’s iconic skyline, this is a modern, light-filled nursery designed specifically for today’s Greenwich families.
All of our Greenwich nurseries use the Famly app to keep parents closely connected to their child’s day. Through the app, families receive photo updates, detailed learning observations and daily information such as meals, sleep times and activities, helping them feel involved and informed wherever they are.
We work closely with our sister nursery, More2Childcare (also Ofsted Outstanding), just five minutes away — sharing expertise, training and leadership standards.

FAQs
Do you accept salary sacrifice at More2Riverside
Yes, all our Greenwich nurseries accept salary sacrifice childcare schemes through providers including Enjoy Benefits and Yellow Nest.
Salary sacrifice allows eligible working parents to pay nursery fees from their gross salary before tax and National Insurance deductions, which can significantly reduce childcare costs. Many families using childcare in Greenwich benefit from this scheme, and our team is happy to guide parents through the process.
How does the 15 and 30 hours funded childcare work?
Eligible working parents in England can access 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare per week during term time, depending on age and eligibility. This government scheme supports many families seeking affordable childcare in Greenwich.
While the funding rate does not fully cover the true cost of delivering high-quality early years education, we are committed to supporting families to maximise their entitlement. We explain clearly how stretched funding works across the year and provide transparent fee breakdowns so parents understand their options.
Can More2Riverside nursery follow our child’s routine from home?
At our Riverside nursery in Greenwich, each room follows an age-appropriate routine. Babies and toddlers have schedules that can reflect individual sleep and feeding patterns, but we tend to find that children start to follow the general nursery routine quite quickly along with their peers. Preschool children follow a more structured day to support school readiness.
We work closely with families during settling-in to mirror home routines where possible, particularly for sleep and comfort. Our goal is to ensure children feel secure while gently adapting to the rhythm of nursery life.
