A Special Day at More2Kidbrooke: Celebrating Our Nursery Space and Community
| Kelly Salambasis
We were delighted to recently welcome representatives from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, including the Council Leader and local councillors, to More2Kidbrooke Nursery. It was a proud moment for our team to showcase our beautiful setting and the nurturing environment we have created for children and families in and around Kidbrooke.
Our nursery is located at the heart of a newly built development and was purpose-designed with young children in mind. From the moment you step inside, the space feels calm, light and welcoming. High ceilings, large windows and spacious rooms flood the nursery with natural light, creating an environment that supports children’s wellbeing, curiosity and learning.
Every area of the nursery has been carefully designed to give children the very best start. The rooms are generous and thoughtfully laid out, allowing children to explore, play and learn freely, while also feeling safe and secure. Secure entry systems, CCTV monitoring and modern air-filtering and heating systems all help to create a healthy and reassuring environment for families.
One of the standout features of More2Kidbrooke is our large, secure garden, which can be accessed directly from several of the nursery rooms. This gives children daily opportunities for outdoor play, physical development and nature-based learning — something we value hugely as part of a balanced early years experience.
It was a joy to see children and staff going about their day while visitors saw first-hand how the space works in practice: children engaged, confident and settled, supported by our experienced and caring team.
While the nursery forms part of a wider council-led housing development, we are very much a nursery for the wider community. We welcome working families from Kidbrooke, SE3, SE9 and across the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and we are proud to offer high-quality childcare and early education for children from three months to four years old.
We are currently full for two-year-old places, but we do have good availability for babies under two and for three-year-olds, with both immediate and future start dates available.
If you are looking for a bright, spacious and thoughtfully designed nursery where your child can thrive, we would love to show you around and share our space with you.
