You Said, We Did: Always Listening to Our Families at Our Nurseries in Greenwich and Kidbrooke

At More2, listening to our families is at the heart of everything we do. As a trusted nursery in Greenwich, including our nursery in Kidbrooke, we regularly ask parents for feedback through surveys and everyday conversations. We believe the very best early years experiences are built through strong partnerships between families and nursery teams.

We’re proud that parent partnerships have long been part of who we are – including being recognised as Nursery World Award winners for Parent Partnerships. Your voices continue to shape our nurseries across Greenwich and Kidbrooke, and here’s a snapshot of what you told us, and how we’ve responded.

You said: You’d love more opportunities to be involved and feel part of the More2 community

We did:
Across our Greenwich nursery settings and Kidbrooke nursery, we continue to invite parents to be actively involved in nursery life via More2Parents. Families are welcomed to join us for stay and play sessions, seasonal celebrations, coffee catch-ups, and special curriculum experiences throughout the year.

Parents are always encouraged to suggest ideas or arrange a time with their child’s room team to:

  • Read a favourite story
  • Share a talent or interest
  • Take part in learning experiences

Some of our most memorable moments in our nurseries in Greenwich and Kidbrooke have come directly from parents — including a fantastic volcano experiment led by one of our families! If you can think of anything else you’d like to share, we’d be delighted to welcome you.

You said: You want clear access to policies, procedures, and safeguarding information

We did:
At our nursery in Greenwich and nursery Kidbrooke, we’ve made sure that policies and procedures are easily accessible, both online and within the nursery, so parents can refer to them at any time.

Safeguarding is a top priority in all our Greenwich nurseries, and we regularly highlight key policies so families always know:

  • Who to speak to
  • How concerns are managed
  • How we keep children safe and supported

You said: You value the inclusive environment, wide range of activities, outdoor learning, and healthy snacks

We did:
Our Kidbrooke nursery and nurseries across Greenwich continue to provide stimulating, inclusive environments that reflect children’s interests, cultures, and individual needs.

We remain committed to:

  • A wide range of engaging early years activities
  • Outdoor learning and play
  • Nutritious snacks that promote healthy lifestyles
  • Wellbeing-focused experiences that support children’s development

You said: Communication is important and you value regular updates

We did:

  • The Famly app
  • Newsletters and emails
  • Parents’ evenings
  • Coffee mornings and community events

We’re also creating a new room transition leaflet to further support children and families during this important stage.

You said: You value knowledgeable, well-trained nursery staff

We did:
At More2, across our Greenwich and Kidbrooke nurseries, we invest heavily in staff development because highly trained practitioners create safe, nurturing, and inspiring environments for children.

This includes:

  • An annual staff training week
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Topic-focused first aid training delivered by a registered first aid trainer, tailored to the needs of our children

You said: You’re happy with the quality of care, environment, and relationships
