More2 does the Ofsted Outstanding Double

Under 5s at More2Riverside Nursery in Greenwich are celebrating being awarded Outstanding by Ofsted.
More2Riverside has been given the top mark by Ofsted in the report they received on 4th May, following an Inspection in early April.
They now join their sister nursery More2Childcare to become the only two privately owned Ofsted Outstanding Nurseries in the SE10 postcode area (as of 5th May 2022) since Ofsted started to inspect under the new statutory framework (introduced in September 2021).
The results were officially celebrated with the children and parents of the nursery with themed cupcakes and decorations in the garden.
Kelly Salambasis, Eve Daniels and Glenda Alexander, Co-Owners who opened the nursery in 2019, along with Manager Rosie Bennett who oversees daily operations, say they are “over the moon” to have achieved the top rating.
They added “Just one year after opening, whilst still getting established the Pandemic hit and we were only able to open to a handful of keyworker children for 2 months during April and March 2020.It was an incredibly stressful time as business owners. But we have come through it and are thrilled to achieve Outstanding at the first inspection. It really is testament to our amazing Manager and professional and committed staff team. They strive every day to go above and beyond for the children in their care”.
