Links with the Community

More2Nurseries celebrate their strong links with the local community. From coffee mornings, to membership schemes with local businesses and engaging with local charities to offer education, teaching and investment.

It's also really important that we extend this to the children at nursery. Our pres-schoolers are enjoying learning about "people who help us". From firefighters to doctors, vets, car mechanics - it's really caught the children's attention.

We were therefore delighted to welcome 3 Police Officers to both nurseries on Friday to reinforce our theme. Children had so many questions - one of the most popular was "when are you going catch the bad guys"? They got to try on the helmet, the hand cuffs, and the vest. Perhaps there will be some future police Officers amongst this group of children?

We look forward to lots more activities, fun and learning around this topic, following the children's interests.
