Support for Young MumsAid and Local Families

More2Nurseries is spreading holiday cheer through two heartwarming projects. This year, in partnership with The Bridge at East Greenwich Pleasaunce, More2 are funding 40 places for families to visit Father Christmas on Sunday, 8th December, from 11 am to 4 pm. Additionally we're continuing our annual collaboration with award-winning charity MumsAid, with a dedicated fundraiser to provide Christmas presents for young mothers in need.

The funded visit to Father Christmas within the Christmas Market at The Bridge will offer struggling families a special holiday experience. Each child will receive a Christmas gift and a keepsake Polaroid photo with Father Christmas, ensuring a memory to cherish. This initiative, organized with support from the Caletock Estate Residents’ Association, aims to bring joy to vulnerable families during a season that can be particularly challenging. By providing this experience, More2 and The Bridge hope to bring festive magic to families who need it most.

In tandem with the Father Christmas visits, More2 is strengthening its commitment to MumsAid, a charity that offers professional mental health support to young mothers. This year, our ongoing “Christmas Bauble Appeal” will raise funds to give over 30 young mothers, aged 15-21, a thoughtful Christmas present. For many of these young women, the gift provided by More2 is the only one they will receive during the holiday season. Each bauble on the appeal highlights the challenges these mothers face, encouraging More2 families to show their support through donations.

We invite you to support these efforts. By donating to the Christmas Bauble Appeal, residents can help bring a smile to a young mother and brighten her Christmas
