Co-Founder, Operations/Sales Director
I am a mother of four and have lived in the borough all my life. I returned to work after having my first three children and struggled with the work life balance. After having my fouth child i was simply unable to work due to childcare, cost and work available to fit around my children. After 20 years of working in central London in Publishing, Business consultancy and sales I made the decision to give the next four years to the voluntary sector and co Founded The Bridge in East Greenwich Pleasaunce, which I now Chair.
Co-Founder, Marketing & HR Director
I am responsible for Marketing and HR across More2Nurseries. After a history degree at Reading my first 10 years of working life were in marketing. Having lived in East Greenwich for over 13 years my family (and cat!) have now moved to the Kent countryside. I'm a co-founder of the Bridge and having struggled myself to find flexible work after having children I am proud that More2Nurseries has helped support families to find family friendly work. There is a recruitment crisis across the UK in nurseries with quality and qualified staff in high demand - much of my focus is therefore finding innovative ways to attract and retain nursery professionals.
Co-Founder, Director of Childcare, MSc
After having worked in science R&D and then training, I switched to the Non Profit sector prior to the arrival of my 2nd child. The organisation I worked with provided coaching for growth and sustainability in community serving orgainisations, an area close to my heart. Originally from the Emerald Isle I have lived in Scotland, the USA for over a decade and am now settled in Greenwich. As a family of 5, with no extended family in London, being part of a community is fundamentally important to our quality of life. I firmily believe that a top quality flexible nursery can also be a community hub for the families in East Greenwich.
